I walked to church today. It gave me some time to think. It was so beautiful outside {well, okay, the thermometer said 24 but the sun was out and it felt lovely}
I thought about some things I will miss the next 18 months:
-My Morgan Drive neighborhood.
-My friends
-Marriages and friends coming home from missions
-Baby births... maybe.
-Talks with my mom
-Getting back massages from my mom in the morning
-Rexburg summers
-School
-Dating
-free time
-Garden produce from home
-My parents and their wisdom
-mom's granola
And then I thought about all the things I will be experiencing new. I thought about Easter and what it means to me and why we celebrate it. I thought about how the events of Easter is the reason I am even leaving for 18 months. Then I got very excited. This is going to be awesome!
On another note, I have had quite the few past weeks after finishing my semester! Posts about that will be coming soon, but my sister and cousin have blogged about it (much better than I can, I might add) here and here. Oh, and that video on Elyse's...let's just say Nels, the cute big baby, inspires me to do things I will regret later. What a power.
