Part II: Arizona

The view on the way home in the general direction of the Grand Canyon
Arizona was next on the road trip to see the Lake family. So cute. I was only there for two days, but it included: painting the kitchen, playing with children, going to the science museum, making milk-maid skirts, I read my book {a lot}, watched swimming lessons, raided Elaine's closet and was successful in finding a white mission skirt {yea!}lost at sequence, looked for curtain fabric and... then I drove home with Sydney. It was a fun simple trip! Oh how I love my family.
Elaine is such a sweet mom.

Curly spent lots of time showing me her
great dance moves

And she let me read her goodnight stories

This is an everyday scene at the Lakes house. Poor Lou loves
Bubba so much that she can't control her passion.

Oh the milk maid skirts. They didn't turn out quite how we
planned.

Cute cute family sans Fisher. Unfortunately I
don't have any pictures of him.

Lainey and I at the science center.

The distorted face thing at the science center was way too fun.

This was supposed to blend our faces. Personally
I think the creepiest thing is how similar we look.
