Letter from the Mission President, Jack Christianson, to home folks: "It is our tradition that each missionary begins her service by visiting the Sacred Grove. She is given some quiet time in the Grove to contemplate the events that occurred there and report to the Lord as she begins her mission. The picture was taken at the Sacred Grove."
The one in front of the Whitmer cabin is Sister McKenna and I and the one in The Grandin Bookstore is Sister Gines - the sister that lives with us. We also live with Sister Carver, but I didn't have a picture of her yet. Enjoy!
