I got the sweet note from the east coasters this week, and it was such a pleasant surprise. I'm glad mom and dad got to join us celebrating Thanksgiving on the East coast. I ate dinner with a member family and then we visited those who didn't have family. It was a really good day. Thank you for the thoughtful notes and advice and encouragement. It is a treasured letter :) I am very impressed that my nieces can WRITE now! Wow! Good job babies! Also, Congratulations to Austin! He is now married! I'm sorry this was so late in coming. I got the wedding announcement but forgot to mention anything. She looks adorable! I'm excited to meet her someday. And tell them thanks for sending the announcement. It was really fun to see. When is Tyler getting married again? That's a lot of marriage for one family!
Well it hasn't been too long since my last email, but things have been good. We had a really neat experience with mormon.org chatting. A woman came on because her daughter in law is a member of the church and she wanted to learn more about what she believed. She told us she watched the Joseph Smith movie and really liked it and felt she was like Joseph Smith - that she has been looking for the right church for a long time. We talked to her about the Book of Mormon of course and she had a great desire for one, so we were able to send missionaries to her and bear our testimonies that this is exactly what she is looking for. You could just feel that she was a very special, humble woman who had a great love for the Savior.
The work with less actives slowly continues. We had an exciting moment when a family that have been investigating for six years, but can't get baptized, because they won't get married came to the first presidency fireside last night. They really enjoyed it and I feel like we've been getting a lot of guidance from The Book of Mormon on how to help them. I love study with the spirit! And also, I loved the first presidency message. Especially Elder Uchtdorf's and the music. The spirit is so strong with music.
oh, and we really do teach behind the morgue. Our investigators live in a tiny little apartment back there. But mostly I put that in the subject line because it rhymed.
Hm.... I think that is about it for now. Next week I am sure I will have a lot to say. I love you all very much!
Happy December!

p.s. Can you tell Cassie I say hello and that I love that we get to be serving missions together? I love hearing her stories and I think she is amazing. I'm so proud that she is serving a mission and now gets to read the Book of Mormon everyday. I remember when she started to read it for the first time at our house in a long time and she was so dedicated to finishing it before she left. She is so inspiring :)
