Q: Write about something that boosted your testimony.
When I was fourteen I went through this very strange stage in my life that I like to refer to as the 'sister missionary stage.' My disclaimer is that I think sister missionaries are great and I always wanted to be one, but for this stage to come in mass when I was fourteen can only be described as strange.
This special time consisted of me reading lots of church doctrine books, listening to mormon tabernacle choir music all the time, listening to past yeras of general conference and keeping a very consistent journal. All of these things are good to do, but I was doing this ALL the time. I didn't really have too many friends...
But I am very grateful for that time in my life. It is when I really developed a testimony. I had a passion for the gospel that I had never had before and it was when I truly knew that Joseph Smith was a prophet as well as the then prophet, President Hinckley. It is by far the most beneficial year I have had of my life because it provided me with the start of what I will use the rest of my life: a testimony of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints.
