Meet Sydney, my adorable cousin who is every BYU-Idaho boy’s dream and every girl’s best friend. That says a lot about her: she is loving, fun, intelligent, energetic, thoughtful, loves to eat anything made with grains and great at asking LOTS of questions.
It also means that living with her is happy. We have so much fun in our cute little bachelorette pad - aka my parents basement.
This is my lament that Sydney is leaving next week because the semester will be over and she for some reason wants to get away from the beautiful snow filled, teen temperature Idaho and go home to sunny Arizona where it’s some ridiculous temperature like 70 degrees. Yuck, who wants that?
Similarly, Cassie, my other cousin who lived here earlier this semester left for her mission in South Africa a month ago. We were so happy and excited for her, but still...
This seems to be a semesterly tradition that I could do without. Every semester I come to love my roommates only to have to say goodbye to them after 12 weeks of bonding. And I rarely get to live with them again because of the track system at my school. Life is filled with goodbye’s.
I guess I’ll have to get used to it. But it doesn’t mean I like it.
True that dewd.... i hate saying goodbye :(
ReplyDeletealso... i love Sydney
