Teaching hungry

Not sure what to say today, since it's been only three days since my last e-mail, and most of that was spent at the sites. But some really good things have happened:
-Barb, our non-investigator investigator, came to church again and we invited her again to have us come teach her. She wants us to now, but there is no time she is home because she and her husband both drive bus opposite schedules.

- Saturday we got to go to the temple, which was really nice, and I also saw a few members from my first area, which was great! One has moved to a Rochester ward, where Casey is, the girl who was baptized after coming to pageant last year. She said they had a diversity fair at the college campus last week, and this member {Sister Snarr} Set up a booth with Casey there and they gave away about 10 Book of Mormons. Casey is on fire! She is trying to complete all of personal progress, and her 4 years of seminary in one year, because she wants to and also because she really wants to go to BYU and thinks that will give her a better chance. She shares her testimony with anyone who will listen. Awesome!

-  We only taught one lesson all week last week because we had so little time in our area :( Sister Larsen and I were both feeling pretty sad about that. It helped me realize what  a blessing it is to get to teach all the time, because you feel the spirit so much and it is so rewarding to see people make little steps towards repentance. This week we will have more time and have already been able to teach more than that haha. Also, the sites have been getting busy again because of the fall colors groups that come through, so that is good.

- Our shower drain officially stopped and now is sending water up from it, which is gross. Poor showers can only handle so much hair from four girls with long hair. yuck.  We've been trying to be careful, and also tried to clear it out with drain cleaner and plunging, but.... it failed. So for now we are bailing the water out with a bucket. Haha I find it strangely satisfying. Before I always wanted to serve in a place where we showered out of a bucket, so I guess in our mission this is the closest I have gotten. :)

I love you all! Happy end of September!
love,
Sister L
