1. My mama
She's one of my best friends. One thing I love about her is that she doesn't always side with me. She listens to me share my side of the story and then she asks questions to help me understand the possible point of view from the other person.
2. Betty Woodbury, my Mom's Mom. I have lived with my Woodbury grandparents four separate times and each time has been an incredibly great experience. My Grandma can talk to anyone. She can also talk anyone into doing anything. I am in awe of this talent and have tried to figure it out, but I don't think I'll get it until I learn to be as friendly as she is.
3. Amber Lovell: my Dad's mom
I'm sad these two pictures are blury, but I wanted to put them on because I think she is beautiful. I didn't know my Grandma Lovell that well and she passed away when I was 14 but I love her. I remember her as quiet but firm and funny. She was really good with kids. Once I stayed with her when my family went on vacation. I remember being so homesick, but she pulled out a photo album that had pictures of my family in it and had me tell her stories about them. I miss going to visit her on Sunday afternoons in Ririe.
Hope your Mother's Day was as happy as mine.
