It has been summer break for most of my time here. This means Connie only works a few hours a week so my time here has often been spent on helping her with projects rather than just being with the children. It's been so fun! It's somehow much easier to be motivated to do someone else's projects rather than your own. Some of these involved recovering her kitchen chairs, organizing and installing hooks in the shed, painting the kitchen (it is now partly raspberry red), and wedding out this jungle area of the yards to plant roses. Connie is fun to do projects with and I will really miss this cute family when I go.
