And that is why the girls are cleaning them out.
As mentioned in the previous post, Gerd & Barbel took a girl in our congregation who is from England, the little girls and I on a tour of Hamburg Harbor. The weather was perfect. The girls were energetic. And we were all happy to be there!
Barbel speaks almost no English and Gerd a bit, so they printed out information of the places we would see in English so we could know what it was we were seeing. Gerd also wanted to tell us the story of that statue in the picture above (The Devil) and so he printed it off in German and looked up the words in english that he didn't know and wrote them down so he could tell us about it. So sweet.
