In a world like David Bowie

Q: Imagine a world where humans need no sleep. How would this affect your life? What would you do with the extra time?

What are you talking about? Who needs sleep?

At least that's how I've been feeling the past few days. Let's just say the Lovell roommates need to do better at focusing on homework so that we don't stay up until three doing it. Bluck.

However, if humans truly did not need sleep I would possibly be the most creative person in the world/extremely insane. See, I have crazy dreams. And by crazy I mean really crazy. I think this is where all my creative energy is going! It is being sapped out of my conscious mind into my subconscious mind where it expresses itself in dizzying eccentricness.

In a sleepless world I would live in a house painted with colorful mushrooms and be convinced that I was Harry Potter. Or maybe I would just draw pictures about it. Possibly I would have friends who morphed into whatever person I wanted to be with. And If I were living in a sleepless world I would have died several times. Whoever said you can't die in your dream was wrong. Very wrong. Oh, what a life it would be. I wonder what it would be like to be drawn to madness by extreme creativity?

I'll ask David Bowie about it if I ever meet him.
