In honor of Jello

It's the holiday season which in this family means jello is made more frequently, and boy do the women in this family know how to make jello! Or at least all the women older than me. Here is a great little story about tonight...

We had a guest over for dinner, and when we got to the table there was a bowl of what I thought looked remarkably like fry sauce so I asked mom what it was.
"Jello." She responded. (This week had been our creamy orange jello week) I love Jello so I served up lots of it. Yum!

It was a while later into the meal that my dad asked, "Are you sure this is Jello?" to which my mom responded that she thought it was.

Turns out it was tomato soup - the creamy delicious kind, but tomato soup all the same, which does not taste great when you are expecting jello.

After the discovery, our sweet visitor said, 'I was wondering if you liked your jello salty or something..." But she was too polite to say a word.

Oh jello, how we love you.
