It was one of those wonderful mornings when you wake up and don´t know where you are and then suddenly you remember... I´m in Germany! I´m staying with this lovely family - the Eggers- until I go with their cousins on Friday who I will be nannying for. Anna and I got back from our Berlin touring last night. The lovely thing about staying with the Eggers - other than that they are fantastic people - is feeling like I am not a major tourist. It feels a little like real life. This is a bit of what happened in the lovely slow paced day that made up my Thursday.
I´ve eaten lots of delicious bread and cheese and spreads. Oh franzbrütchen, I love you.
I went on a little WalkRun. Playgrounds have cool toys here. I liked this little spiderweb swing today that I found on my little adventure
The lovely skinny little road I ran down. I also later drove the Eggers stick shift van on this skinny road. It sometimes gave me a heartattack but Anna thought it was great. A huge thanks to my parents for teaching me to drive automatic as that will come in very handy here.
And then while I ran There were so many cute houses like this. Also, my phone gets a D- for it´s photo taking capabilities. It´s really struggling with light on this trip.
When you go to high school in a couintry that is not sue happy, you get cool toys like this for recess.
