Pageant Ripples

Wonderful week! It was zone conference week {which is always amazing}
and I also found out something so exciting! During pageant last July,
among all the hundreds of people who were wandering through the sites,
I got to talk to a 16 year girl and her mom who I thought were members
but I ended up asking what made them decide to come to see the Joseph
Smith Farm and she said she loved the Book of Mormon musical and
decided to find out what we really believed, so she got online and
read about the pageant that was taking place about an hour from her.
Long story short, we taught her the restoration, got her contact
information and gave it to the Elders that were in her area. I found
out from the Elder that she was baptized in October, and a few days
ago went with the youth to do baptisms for the dead and is doing
wonderful :) yea!  I was so happy, because she was such a great girl
and was one of the few people I could really tell were prepared as we
taught her that first time. And I thought about what a great future
she has in store for her. The gospel brings so much hope and happiness
to people!

The Lord put us in the right place at the right time this week and we
were able to contact some people that we had been trying to contact
for a long time. It is a miracle to see how often that happens. Also,
this week I got to finish the 4 gospels, and it has been so
incredible. I love reading about how the savior teaches with love
through everything he does.

Sister Park also accidently got a little shower in the car wash this
week... It's a long, really funny story that involves car mats getting
stuck in the car wash, paying twice so we could get them back :(, Big
blasts of water turning on when sister Park was running in to get them
and then realizing that I was in the car in the car wash with both
garage doors closed and Sister Park was outside of the building
staring in at me. I;m not sure how that happened but I was so scared
my little Korean was going to get kidnapped or something. I realize
that none of that made sense. Some day I will tell it to you and it
will be funny.

Happy leap year! I love you!
love,
Sister L
